As the Director of ICT, I am honoured to welcome you to this strategic technological arm of the University, established to drive digital transformation, support innovative solutions, and provide reliable ICT services that enhance teaching, learning, research, and administrative operations.

The Directorate of ICT plays a central role in the development, deployment, and management of the University’s digital infrastructure. Our responsibilities include network administration, systems development, database management, cybersecurity, website management, e-learning support, and the provision of technical support services across all units of the University.

We are committed to excellence in ICT service delivery, innovation, and digital transformation. Our operations are guided by best practices in information technology governance, with a strong focus on reliability, security, efficiency, and continuous improvement of digital systems that support institutional effectiveness.

In addition, the Directorate supports capacity building through ICT training, user support, and digital literacy programmes for staff and students. We also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement smart solutions that improve communication, data management, and service delivery across the University.
